Position: Program Assistant
Description:
Major functions include providing administrative/clerical support to Department Director and Vocational Specialists. This includes proofreading and formatting monthly reports, assisting with data entry and data verification, taking meeting minutes, scheduling appointments, communication with referrers, etc.
Requirements Include:
Good English skills, both comprehension and grammar
Good typing and computer skills
Attention to detail a must
Some sign language skills required
Requires personal characteristics of flexibility, enthusiasm, assertiveness and cooperation
Support philosophy of community placement and integration and belief that persons with severe disabilities can work in the community
