Adrianne Sheppard - Employment Specialist
Adrianne began learning about deafness in 2001 from a deaf friend in college. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interpreting, and began working as a contract interpreter in Columbus. With an internship in Vocational Rehabilitation and many years experience working with individuals with disabilities she joined CSHC and began assisting individuals with disabilities obtain and maintain competitive employment. She has worked with the CPD program for 2 years and has attended trainings to increase her skills in the areas of mental health disabilities and securing successful employment for individuals.
Adrianne currently provides Job Retention, Worksite Assessment, Equipment Assessment, Community Based Assessments and Job Placement Services. Her goal is to continue to gain resources such as equipment and be informed of employers who are hiring and fit the consumer’s needs.
