Tracey Ison - Employment Specialist

Tracey has worked in the area of deafness and vocational rehabilitation for nearly 30 years. She received an Interpreting/Transliterating Certificate from the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, has interpreted for church related functions and musical concerts at the Ohio State Fair, and holds an Associate Degree in Interpreting/Transliterating from Columbus State Community College.

Tracey also has personal life experience living with a sister who is deaf and has development delays. She understands, on a professional and personal level, the impact of having a family member with multiple disabilities. She has worked at the Ohio School for the Deaf as a residential supervisor and house-parent. Since 1988, she has provided vocational services for the CPD program and recently began working with people who have both a hearing and vision impairment.
