Dr. Kirkendall joined the Center in 2007. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium in 2007 and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from the University of Akron in 2003. Emily received a pediatric leadership grant placement during graduate school and completed her 4th year internship at The Cleveland Clinic. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.
Emily enjoys working with pediatric, cochlear implant and hearing aid patients. She specializes in the assessment of patients with tinnitus and is a trained Neuromonics provider. Emily also provides services through the Older Adult Outreach program funded by the Franklin County Office on Aging.
