Dr. Wheat joined the Center in 1988. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2008 and received her Master of Arts degree from University of Texas at Austin in 1986. Ann is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, the Ohio Academy of Audiology, and the Alexander Graham Bell Association.
Ann is an Audiology representative on the Ohio Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitters Licensing Board and is a member of the Subcommittee on Universal Newborn Hearing Screening. She has served as Committee Chair for the Ohio Audiology Conference in 2007 - 2009. Ann's areas of expertise include pediatric diagnostic services and aural rehabilitation for patients using cochlear implants.
