Position: Public Relations Intern
Decription:
Providing support for the Marketing/PR department, tasks including (but not limited to):
Assist with researching, writing and designing print publications including brochures, fliers, annual reports and other marketing collateral as needed.
Assist with planning and execution of special events/fundraisers. Specifically Great Communicator Golf Outing on June 29, 2010.
Assist with the development and implementation of a Physician Education & Referral marketing program for Speech-Language & OT and Audiology Services.
Monitor and manage branding and image strategy to ensure proper usage and style for all Center communications.
Research and write articles for the Center’s bimonthly e-newsletter.
Help the Center integrate/monitor social media.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
English composition, spelling, grammar and punctuation to produce news articles, press releases and other written communications.
Writing a variety of news articles and press releases in the proper style and format.
Reviewing, proofreading and editing written materials for accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
The proficient use of standard office software, including word processing and publishing software packages.
Additional Requirements:
Must be working toward a degree in Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
Schedule:
Approximately 15-20 hours per week
Flexible schedule to be agreed upon between Intern and Supervisor
